Two Le Roy residents charged with selling drugs

LE ROY – Two Le Roy men were arrested Thursday following investigations into drug sales in that community, according to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office.

James J. Wetsell, 43, of Genesee Street is accused of selling oxycodone to an agent of the Genesee County Local Drug Task Force on two occasions. He is charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Charles G. Scinta, 74, of Genesee Street allegedly sold diazepam to an agent on two occasions. He is charged with fifth-degree sale of a controlled substance and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The two were arrested at their homes by Drug Task Force members and Le Roy police.
