Lewiston woman sentenced for selling stolen gun

LOCKPORT – A woman who sold a handgun stolen in a 2014 burglary was sentenced Wednesday by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon to five years’ probation, beginning with six months in jail.

Tiffany A. Pawlukovich, 21, of Ridge Road, Lewiston, had pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. The gun was taken in one of four break-ins by the same men in Wilson, Porter and Cambria on Sept. 29 and 30, 2014.

The burglars, Joshua K. Allen of North Tonawanda and Joseph J. Trusello of Lewiston, have been sent to state prison, as was Ronald C. Swanson of Niagara Falls, who bought the gun from Pawlukovich. Awaiting sentencing for selling other goods stolen in the burglaries is Christian L. Starr of Lewiston.
