BATAVIA – An Akron woman was charged following the crash of two vehicles and a school bus near Genesee County Community College about 1 p.m. Wednesday.
Tasha L. Wiltberger,26, was ticketed for failing to yield the right of way, according to Genesee County sheriff’s deputies. Wiltberger, driving north on Med. Tech Drive, pulled away from a stop at Assemblyman R. Stephen Hawley Drive and into the path of an eastbound truck that struck the driver’s side of Wiltberger’s SUV. The impect sent the SUV spinning onto nearby College Road, where it hit a Pavilion Central School bus with nine students and a teacher aboard.
Wiltberger was the only one requiring medical treatment, deputies said.
