A new superintendent could be named Thursday night in the North Collins Central School District.
The Board of Education scheduled a special meeting for 6 p.m. in the junior-senior high school’s library during its regular meeting Tuesday night. Board members could not appoint a superintendent Tuesday night because they must finalize contract details with the candidate.
Superintendent Joan Thomas plans to retire Dec. 23. The board expects the new superintendent to start in January.
Board members interviewed seven of 32 applicants.
