TOWN OF NIAGARA – A Niagara Falls man stopped on a traffic charge by state police was additionally charged with felony drunken driving after he was found to have a blood alcohol more than twice the legal limit.
Kenneth W. Johnson, 31, was stopped for inadequate brake lights and additionally found to be operating without an inspection certificate, when troopers pulled him over at 1 p.m. Friday on Porter Road.
Troopers interviewed him further after they noticed an odor of alcohol. He was found with a blood alcohol of .18 percent and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated. He was issued a traffic ticket and a return court date for January in Town of Niagara Court.
