Electric Lights Parade winners announced

TOWN OF NIAGARA – Winners of the 2015 Niagara Electric Lights Parade were recently announced by the NY-PENN Judging Association Inc.

Taking first place in each category of the Nov. 7 event were: dance, Adell’s School of Dance; motor units, Empire State West; antique cars, Ransomville Speedway; antique trucks, Niagara Active Hose Fire Company; and marchers, Catholic Academy.

The winners of the military marchers were: first, the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office; second, the Niagara Falls Police Department; and third, Niagara University ROTC.

The winning floats were: first, J&J Decking; second, Catholic Academy, second; and third, Niagara Catholic.

The annual parade is organized and sponsored by the Town of Niagara and Republic Services and presented by the Town Business and Professional Association Inc. and the Niagara USA Chamber of Commerce.
