Elmwood Avenue man admits to selling drugs in Lockport

LOCKPORT – A former Lockport resident now living on Elmwood Avenue in Buffalo pleaded guilty Friday to a reduced felony charge stemming from his sale of Suboxone to a police informant at his old apartment last year.

David M. Buckeye, 28, pleaded guilty to attempted fifth-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and was scheduled for sentencing March 11 by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.

Buckeye made the $25 sale on Genesee Street in Lockport April 24, 2014. He must pay back the money to the county Drug Task Force.
