LOCKPORT – A man who succeeded in the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment was granted a one-year conditional discharge Thursday by Niagara County Judge Matthew J. Murphy III.

Markus M. Thomas, 30, of Chapel Street, Lockport, was allowed to reduce his original felony plea to a misdemeanor after completing the program.

He was arrested April 12, 2013, in Lockport and charged with possessing three-tenths of an ounce of cocaine.
