Wednesday's practice report: Mario Williams returns

It appears Mario Williams will face his former team on Sunday.

The Buffalo Bills defensive end who missed last weekend's loss at Kansas City with a foot injury returned to practice on Wednesday. He has 14 tackles and three sacks this season.

There were several players missing in action during the padded practice: running back Karlos Williams (shoulder), guard John Miller (ankle), inside linebacker Nigel Bradham (ankle), right tackle Seantrel Henderson (illness) and safety Bacarri Rambo.

Left tackle Cordy Glenn (back) was at practice, but limited. Wide receiver Marcus Easley (concussion) returned.

The full injury report will be announced after practice. Buffalo signed three defensive players this week to help deal with the injuries and rookie Tony Steward is expected to step in for Bradham next to Preston Brown on defense. Ryan said he isn't concerned with either Henderson or Glenn missing Sunday's game, important considering Houston's J.J. Watt is coming to town.

Watt has 13.5 sacks this season. The Bills as an entire team have 16.
