Santa visits these 5 free family events

Santa is one busy guy these days. So get the kids ready to spend some time with the big guy and feel pure joy knowing it won’t cost you a cent. Here are some free events for this week.

The 13th annual Breakfast with Santa will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Dec. 5 at Orchard Park Middle School (60 South Lincoln Ave.). Kids can visit with Santa, make holiday crafts and enjoy a hayride. They’ll have doughnuts and hot cocoa.

Santa in the Center is a fun event for everyone in your family. This annual holiday tradition is held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Perfect Gift (6000 Goodrich Road, Clarence Center). Kids can get their pictures taken with Santa, enjoy refreshments and catch a carriage ride.

Santa will be the star of the show in Kenmore for a Holiday Sing-Along starting at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at Crosby Field. There will be a huge bonfire, caroling, refreshments and a visit from St. Nick. So, bundle up the family and get ready to sing classic holiday songs at this community event.

It is sure to be a joyous and peaceful evening for the Tree Lighting and Caroling event at 6 p.m. Dec. 5 in the Village of Williamsville as part of the weekend Holiday in the Village event. There will be caroling, a tree lighting and much more as the community celebrates the onset of the Christmas season. Events start earlier in the day and include trolley rides (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), horse and wagon rides (noon to 2 p.m.) and DIY pictures with Santa (11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mill and Spring streets).
