Niagara Falls man faces marijuana charge

NIAGARA FALLS – A Niagara Falls man will appear in court later this month after State Police said they found 53 grams of marijuana in his car during a traffic stop.

State Police charged Gary M. Todd Jr., 25, with fourth-degree marijuana possession after he was stopped on Buffalo Avenue on Friday. The misdemeanor possession charge corresponds to less than two ounces of marijuana.

Authorities issued Todd an appearance ticket, as well as traffic tickets for moving from a lane unsafely and failing to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of an address change.

He is due in court Dec. 16.
