The Buffalo Bandits will stage their annual open practice on Saturday at the First Niagara Center.
The workout will run from 11 a.m. to 1 ap.m., and fans will have the chance to obtain autographs from members of the team before the session from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
There is no admission charge, and parking for the day will be free. The event will have bounce houses, balloon artists and other child-friendly activities.
Fans will be able to look at open seat locations for season-ticket purchases before and during the session. In addition, the team also will start selling individual game tickets for the 2016 season on Saturday at 9 a.m. They can be purchased at the First Niagara Center box office, at tickets.com, or by phone at (888) 467-2273.
The Bandits’ players came in for physical examinations last weekend. The team reported no injury issues. Mark Steenhuis, who suffered a knee injury over the summer, is said to be ready to go. In addition, there are no contract holdouts.
The Bandits start the season on Jan. 9 against Calgary at home.
