Two buzzing Brooklyn trios - Painted Zeros and Bethlehem Steel - will bring their co-headlining show to Mohawk Place this week as the first of a pair of back-to-back Western New York homecoming gigs for two of their respective members.
Painted Zeroes, a shimmering shoegaze outfit which features Rochester musician Jim Hill of the dearly departed Cottage Jefferson, has been sharing a slew of dreamy singles all fall to tease the group’s late October released LP, “Floriography.” The fuzzy Bethlehem Steel recently released its latest record “87” via Miscreant Records. The Fredonia bred three-piece is led by Buffalo native Becca Ryskalczyk.
Providing local support will be Topshelf Records signees, Del Paxton, as well as the Slums and JOHNS.
Doors open at 7 p.m. Dec. 3 in Mohawk Place (47 E. Mohawk). Cover is $6.
