Erie County extends hours for absentee voting

Extended hours for absentee voting will be offered for the Nov. 3 general election through Nov. 2 at the Erie County Board of Elections, 134 W. Eagle St.

Officials said voters can cast their absentee ballots at board offices from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each working day. In addition, offices will remain open until 7 p.m. on Oct. 20, 22, 27 and 29. Voting also will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays – Oct. 24 and Oct. 31.

The last day to apply in person for an absentee ballot is Nov. 2.
