Officials from Open Buffalo, a collaborative effort by four non-profit organizations working for social and economic justice, signed the Buffalo Opportunity Pledge in a ceremony Monday in Buffalo City Hall.

“As economic growth and opportunity continues in Buffalo, it’s important that all residents and business owners benefit from the city’s rising prosperity,” said Mayor Byron W. Brown. “I thank the Open Buffalo justice collaborative for signing the Buffalo Opportunity Pledge, a reflection of its continued commitment to helping us build a culture of diversity, inclusion and equity in Buffalo.”

Nearly 3,200 people and 127 organizations have signed the pledge, with more planning to sign at special events in coming weeks. To view and sign the pledge, visit city-buffalo.com/BuffaloOpportunityPledge.
