Niagara Falls Mayor Paul A. Dyster will present his proposed city budget for next year at 4 p.m. Thursday in Council Chambers in City Hall.
The presentation, which will take place during a special meeting of the City Council, is open to the public.
Under the city charter, the mayor must present a proposed budget on Oct. 1 each year. Last year, Dyster unveiled his budget 37 days late.
Council members have the ability to amend the budget, while Dyster can veto Council changes. A final spending plan for 2016 must be in place by Dec. 15.
