Plumbing stolen from recently auctioned property in Wilson

WILSON – A McChesney Street property recently sold at auction was burglarized sometime within the past month and all the copper plumbing stolen from the basement, Niagara County sheriff’s deputies said.

Deputies learned Thursday that the new owner recently went to the property for the first time since buying it, and iscovered most of the windows had been left open and all the plumbing had been cut out of the basement. The loss was estimated at $1,500.
