Lockport woman admits to stealing jewelry

LOCKPORT – Lindsay A. Meacham, 24, of Main Street pleaded guilty in Niagara County Court Thursday to stealing more than $3,000 worth of jewelry from her ex-boyfriend’s mother.

Meacham admitted to third-degree grand larceny and was scheduled for sentencing Nov. 18 by County Judge Sara Sheldon, who said Meacham will be assigned before then to mental health court and likely will be placed on interim probation pending a final sentence. Meacham risks up to seven years in prison for the April 2 theft in the City of Lockport.

All the jewelry was recovered, Assistant District Attorney Ryan K. Parisi said.
