Buffalo Urban Renewal Agency meets this morning
Feeding the meter plastic
I spotted these downtown on Court Street. New parking meters that take credit cards. I'll try to find out more about them.
I'm still checking final primary campaign spending reports that were due Sept. 21 with the state Election Board. Ulysees Wingo, winner of the Masten primary, recently filed his report. Shows he took in $4,300 and spent $8,700 in the final weeks of the race, from Aug. 28 through to the Sept. 10 election. His biggest donations included $1,000 from Greater Buffalo United IPA Inc., on Niagara St., Much of the spending was for campaign literature. Still no final reports from the other Masten candidates, Sharon Belton-Cottman or Lamone Gibson. But Fillmore's Joe Mascia did file recently. Shows he spent $2,650 of his own money in the final week of the campaign to buy palm cards and for political advertising in the Buffalo Chronicle. That's it for Fillmore. I reported Dave Fraczyk and Sam Herbert's filing previously.

Terrance Heard, who is running for Ellicott District on the minor party "I Ellicott" line says he's launching a virtual "listening tour."
He's asking his Facebook contacts to take pictures over a 45-day period of blight they see in Buffalo, particularly in the Elicott District, and to post the pictures for City Hall to see.
Reminder: Front entrance to City Hall remains closed while stone art work is being cleaned. Side and back entrances are open.
