Maple Crossing, a 65,377-square-foot retail plaza at 4080-4100 Maple Road in Amherst, will be sold through an online public auction in early November, after the special loan servicer that controls it decided that’s the best way to recoup its money.
The online sale through Auction.com will be held Nov. 2-4, with a minimum starting bid set at $1.5 million.
CW Capital took over the plaza from Benderson Development Co. after foreclosing on the mortgage.
The plaza, whose tenants include Planet Fitness and Bounce Magic, was built in 2005, and sits on 8.3 acres between Sweet Home Road and Niagara Falls Boulevard. It includes three buildings, and is 95 percent leased, with other tenants including Cold Stone Creamery, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers, Brickhouse Tavern & Tap, Empire Vision and Oreck Vacuum.
