Applications being accepted for Countess, Princess Pulaski pageants

Applications are being accepted for the annual Countess Pulaski and Princess Pulaski pageants sponsored by the General Pulaski Association Inc., which will be held during the association’s annual spaghetti dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Creekside Banquet Facility, 2669 Union Road at William Streeet, Cheektowaga. The dinner will be dedicated to the memory of Cheektowaga Town Justice Ronald Kmiotek, who died in 2006.

Countess applicants should be 12 to 16 years old, while princess candidates should be aged 7 to 11. Deadline for applications is Oct. 19. Entry fee is $10. Each entrant must submit a recent photo and a typed essay which should tell how she celebrates and promotes her Polish heritage.
