• The School Board meets at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Middle School, 430 Main St.

• The Village Zoning Board of Appeals meets at 6 p.m. Thursday at Village Hall.

• The Aurora Historical Society meets at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Aurora Senior Center, 101 King St. Town Historian Robert Goller will discuss the town’s role in helping runaway slaves and anti-slavery political movements with local roots. Refreshments served at 6:30 p.m.
