Information session set for students interested in Law and Government Career Explorer Post

An information session for high school students interested in joining a Law and Government Career Explorer Post will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday at Oracle Charter School, 888 Delaware Ave.

Students who are 14 years old or older and their parents can talk to the explorer post’s organizers.

The explorer post has been formed for students thinking about pursuing a career in law or government.

Students who join the post will hear from local lawyers, judges and government officials among others. Student will learn about law schools and different legal career paths. Field trips to law and government facilities and landmarks are also planned.
