ALDI reopening two stores Oct. 1

ALDI will reopen two local stores Oct. 1.

Stores at 587 E. Main St. in Batavia and 1900 Ridge Road in West Seneca are now closed and undergoing renovations.

The renovated stores will have an updated look, higher ceilings and improved natural lighting. The company used environmentally-friendly building materials and recycled materials in the rebuilding process, and also installed energy-efficient refrigeration and lighting systems.

ALDI is a no-frills, discount grocery store headquartered in Germany.
