LOCKPORT – Davaris M. Hodge, currently in state prison for dealing crack cocaine in Lockport, was arraigned Wednesday in Niagara County Court on an indictment charging him with carrying out two more drug deals while he was free on bail on his last conviction.
Hodge, 24, of Erie Street, Lockport, pleaded not guilty to two counts each of third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance. The alleged cocaine sales to police informants occurred Feb. 27 and March 16 in Lockport.
On May 21, County Judge Sara Sheldon assigned Hodge to Willard Correctional Facility, the state prison system’s secure drug treatment center, after his guilty plea to a crack sale in the Town of Lockport in January 2014. It was Hodge’s second felony conviction for selling crack in the last five years.
