LEWISTON – The 32nd annual Harvest Lewiston Festival in the village and 30th annual Wildlife Festival at the Niagara Power Authority Visitors Center will offer a free shuttle bus between both festival sites on Sept. 26 and 27.
Both events run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily and are free and open to the public.
The Harvest Festival, along Center Street, will feature more than 115 vendors showcasing artwork, jewelry, and crafts. Also featued are food vendors and local specialty shops and restaurants, with a farmer’s market at South Fifth and Center streets.
Entertainment will be offered at several locations throughout the festival both days, including “Earth Voices of the Great Spirit,” a Native American program from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in the Lewiston Peace Garden, and a variety of musicians and dancers.
At the Vistors Center, the Wildlife Festival will feature a celebration of the outdoors, featuring exotic animals, hunting and fishing displays – including a fishing pond for youth. In the village, the shuttle will run continuously from near the Historic Frontier House on Center Street to the Niagara Power Authority Visitors Center parking lot at 5777 Lewiston Road.
