Buffalo City Mission receives $50,000 from Walmart Foundation

Buffalo City Mission has received a $50,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation’s State Giving program to help feed people through its Emergency Food Service Program. The money will help buy food, kitchen supplies and other items to assist in preparing and serving meals.

Buffalo City Mission has taken in $638,000 in grants this year to help the homeless, executive director and chief executive officer Stuart L. Harper reports. During the past year, he says, City Mission has provided more than 215,000 meals to its residents and another 3,000 impoverished people.
