Buffalo men go to jail for burglary at a Niagara Falls cellphone store

LOCKPORT – Two Buffalo men who took part in a Jan. 22, 2014, burglary at the Universal Wireless store in Niagara Falls were sentenced Monday to a year in the Niagara County Jail.

County Judge Sara Sheldon also imposed restitution tabs of $33,910 each on Marcus T. Davis, 27, of Dorris Avenue, and Anthony W. Flood, 26, of Alma Avenue. Davis pleaded guilty to attempted third-degree burglary and Flood to petit larceny.

Davis’ sentence will be served after he completes a one-year jail term in Erie County for another burglary, Sheldon said.
