LEWISTON – The Western New York Land Conservancy will offer a public presentation about its plans for the Stella Niagara Preserve at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in Lewiston Senior Center, 4361 Lower River Road.

The conservancy, which bought the 29-acre site from the Sisters of St. Francis earlier this year, will offer examples of work by Darrel Morrison, a landscape architect hired by the conservancy, which are considered models for Stella Niagara.

Nancy Aten, an associate of Morrison’s, is scheduled to make the presentation. Also, the results of five focus groups the conservancy held during the summer will be offered with ideas for the site. The conservancy has spoken of habitat restoration and enhancement in the meadow that covers much of the preserve.
