WEIXLMANN, Chief Thomas W. USN (Ret.)

WEIXLMANN - Chief Thomas W. USN (Ret.) Age 78, September 8, 2015, in Ocala, FL,
Born in Buffalo (OLV, Lackawanna), NY. He was a retired Chief Petty Officer from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of distinguished active naval service, through the years 1955-1974. Besides a wonderful cherished wife, and loving precious family, he always felt that his U.S. Naval career also gave his life much significance. Survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Doris E. Meinhardt Weixlmann; three endearing sons: Thomas Jr. (Susan), Karl (Lisa) and David; also beloved twin sister, Margaret A. Patz (Richard). He was very proud of his five grandchildren: Karl (Neil), Stephen, Thomas III (Alicia), Kayla and Kyle. He also wished to be remembered to his brother-in-law, Richard Patz, and sister-in-law Patricia Weixlmann and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Recently he became a great-grandfather and was looking with anticipation in returning north to visit Owen. Predeceased by his father Cornelius and mother Genevieve Weixlmann and two older brothers Paul and Donald. He expressly requested to be remembered to dear lifelong friends: The Sheehan's, Click's and Bernatz's. Services and burial will be held in Western New York at the family's convenience.
