Three arrested in armed robbery

Quamain Simms-Calhous, 19, of Detroit Street, and Raheem Rogers, 18, of Fisher Street, remained in custody at the Erie County Holding Center late Tuesday on first-degree robbery and other charges for their alleged roles in the armed robbery of $250 from a man on Cliff Street late Monday evening.

A 17-year-old Metcalfe Street girl also charged with first-degree robbery in the case after the three were arrested on Fisher Street, remained free Tuesday evening.

Simms-Calhous and Rogers were both also charged with second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and Simms-Calhous alone was also charged with first-degree criminal use of a firearm for allegedly pointing a .32-caliber handgun at the male robbery victim. Police reported that they seized the gun when they made the arrests.
