Man accused of crashing stolen vehicle into pole

A stolen vehicle was recovered early Sunday after a Buffalo man allegedly crashed it against a pole on the East Side, police said.

Vincent Cramer of Floss Street was charged with third-degree unauthorized use of a vehicle, second- and third-degree criminal mischief, fourth- and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property, second-degree obstructing governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana.

Ferry-Fillmore District officers said he crashed against a pole at Genesee Street at Myers Street about 4:13 a.m. and fled before being apprehended.
