Buffalo native Emily Regan will be part of a Team USA crew looking for a spot in the Rio Olympics.
Regan is part of the United States Training Center women’s eight rowing for the 10th-consectuive world title at the 2015 World Rowing Championships on Lake Aiguebelette, France. The U.S. enters Sunday’s championship race with the fastest time in the opening heats (5:59.58). A top-five finish is needed to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games. The U.S. will row agianst Great Britain, The Netherlands, Canada, New Zealand and Russia in the final.
