Petrucci’s heroics lead to win
Molly Petrucci scored with 13 seconds remaining to give City Honors a 3-2 victory over Tonawanda at the Tonawanda Tournament on Friday. Head coach Andrew McDermmott said the goal came off a “really ridiculous angle” in the penalty box and that Petrucci claimed to have her eyes closed when she shot it. “She’s a pure goal scorer who excels in situations when things get tight,” McDermott said.
