Front page Sept. 4, 1915: S. Division Street woman 'strangled to death in her home; hands and feet tied'

Among the local news on the day's front page:

"Mrs. Delia E. Campbell murdered in her South Division street rooming house"

"Mrs. Delia Emma Campbell, 56 years old, who had a rooming house at 214 South Division, was found strangled to death in her room shortly before noon today by one of the roomers in the house. She was fully dressed and her hands and feed were bound tightly with heavy rope."

"Find wounds on bodies of the Bincklis"

"Ontario authorities this morning at Ridgeway began a searching investigation of the deaths of Mrs. Lillian Binckli, her son Franklin, 12 years old, and her daughter Coralae, eight years old, who were drowned last Sunday when a boat in which they were rowing capsized off Bay Beach, just east of Point Abino."
