Two Buffalo teens charged with possession of stolen credit cards, clothes

LEWISTON – Two Buffalo teens were charged with stealing clothes from the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls after they made a wrong turn and wound up at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge, according to State Police.

Demetria A. Williams and Natasha I. Johnson, both 17, were found with 28 items of clothing when they were stopped by Customs and Border Protection officials, authorities said. The value of the clothing was estimated at $600.

They were charged with criminal possession of stolen property and possession of burglary tools, State Police said.

Authorities also found Johnson had three stolen debit cards and someone else’s driver’s license. She faces an additional felony charge of criminal possession of stolen property.

The arrests occurred “after a lengthy investigation,” State Police said.
