JAMESTOWN – Registration is now open for two free “Tech for Nonprofits” workshops from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 30 and Oct. 28 at the Prendergast Library in Jamestown. The program is sponsored by the Ralph C. Sheldon Foundation and the Chautauqua-Cattaraugus Library System.
All nonprofit organizations in Chautauqua County are invited to attend. Registration is free, and lunch is provided. Space is limited and registration by Sept. 25 is required. A maximum of two people from each organization may attend. Registration should be sent by email to Eli Guinnee at firstname.lastname@example.org .
The Sept. 30 session will include information on assessing, visioning and planning. The basic components of a tech plan and options and trends in computing will be covered.
The Oct. 28 session will include information on hardware and software options for emails, domains, Internet, wireless and more.
