You can still see Paul and not empty your savings ... if you're willing to travel

Fans of Paul McCartney who are battling anger and sadness over their failure to get tickets to his Oct. 22 show at First Niagara Center might not be feeling any better after looking at ticket prices on leading secondary market StubHub: As of this morning, the site was advertising about 600 tickets with prices ranging from $258 to just shy of $9,000.

But look a little harder on the site and there is good news.

McCartney is playing four other shows that are within driving distance of Buffalo and in every case, the lowest-priced tickets are more reasonable.

Nationwide Arena, Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 13: $95.85

Bryce Jordan Center, State College Pa., Oct. 15: $137.74.

Air Canada Centre, Toronto, Oct. 17: $91.70

Joe Louis Arena, Detroit, Oct. 21: $102.86

Don't look at the highest-price tickets. It won't help your anger or sadness.
