Two apartment doors are kicked in

NIAGARA FALLS – Front doors at two adjacent apartments in the 2400 block of Mackenna Avenue were kicked in overnight.

The first victim told police he arrived home on Monday morning to find the door damaged and open. A footprint was on the door. Two televisions, valued at a total of $700, were stolen.

The owner of the three-unit building also found a footprint on a rear apartment door Monday morning. He said the vacant apartment was being renovated and nothing was stolen from the apartment. There were cut marks on the copper pipes coming from the hot water tank, but they were not removed. Damages were listed at $200.
