CONNOR, Edwin C. "Mickey"

CONNOR - Edwin C. "Mickey" Of Hobe Sound, FL, passed away on August 30, 2015 in Stuart, FL. He was born in Buffalo, NY. During World War II he was a Navy fighter pilot, flying, F6Fs, F80s and the Hellcat. He was shot down, but survived to serve in the Naval Reserve for 25 years. Prior to retirement he was a supervisor with New York Telephone. While with New York Telephone he was sent to Iran to install communications systems. He was an avid golfer and sunk two holes in ones.
Survivors include his daughter, Candee and her partner, Ernie; Helen Connor, Aimee and family and his companion, Jane. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine "Jinx"; his son Lance and grandson, Aaron. Arrangements are under the direction of the FOREST HILLS FUNERAL HOME, Palm City.
