Buffalo woman’s pickup truck impounded after DWI arrest

A 21-year-old Franklin Street woman was arrested about 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Tonawanda Street and Review Place on drunk driving and other charges after a wild ride.

Mackenzie Macintosh was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusing to take a breath test, consuming alcohol in a vehicle and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. Her pickup truck was impounded.

Police said she allegedly struck a utility pole on Tonawanda, then kept driving toward Review, in the process forcing two other cars onto sidewalks. She then got out and purchased more beer at a gas station and drank it outside her vehicle.
