Gallagher's preseason All-WNY football predictions; other area talents to keep an eye on

Now that the 2014 football season is officially in the books following the North’s 26-10 win over the South Wednesday night in the 40th Kensington Lions All-Star Classic, let’s shift our focus to 2015. The new season kicks off with the first day of practice for all programs in the state on Aug. 17 – a mere 18 days from now.

So who are some of the talents to keep an eye out for this season? Here’s a sampling from Prep Talk Awards Hall of Famer Dick Gallagher, as here’s his 2015 Pre-Season All-Western New York list. The list may be familiar to those who attended his football awards banquet last December as the list was published in the program.

For those who didn’t see the program, though, here’s Gallagher’s list. Please note these picks were made back in December, and a lot has happened the past seven months (transfers, etc.).
