Third time is not the charm for Sanborn driver with DWI record

LEWISTON – A Sanborn man was arrested a third time for drunken driving and faces felony charges after he was stopped by a Niagara County sheriff patrol in the 2700 block of Ridge Road at 2:48 a.m. Wednesday, reportedly swerving in and out of the designated driver’s lane.

Lucas A. Livolsi, 27, had his license revoked due to several alcohol-related offenses and had previously been convicted of driving while intoxicated in April 2010 in the Town of Lewiston and again in Lewiston in February 2013.

He was charged with felony DWI due to having a previous conviction within the past 10 years, felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to use an interlock device, open container of alcohol in the vehicle, and moving from a lane unsafely. He was remanded on $750 to the Niagara County Jail and a Lewiston Court date was set for Tuesday.
