Front page July 29, 1915: Truck hits, kills Pratt Street youth

Among the local news on the day's front page:

"Boy run over by truck, dies soon afterward"

"Samuel G. Adamnotiz, nine years old, of 69 Pratt street, was fatally injured at 11 o'clock this morning while playing in Spring street, near Superior street, when he was run over by a truck operated by Raymond G. Stewart, vice-president of the Stewart Motor Car company. The child's chest was crushed and his skull was fractured. He died in the ambulance on the way to the hospital."

"Hold woman to clear up points in Carroll case"

"Believed even if driver of red car is found it will be hard to connect him with murder"
