Alzheimer’s conference set Thursday in Niagara Falls

NIAGARA FALLS – Family members who provide care for a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia are encouraged to attend a free dementia care conference Thursday.

The Western New York Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association is sponsoring the seminar, which will run from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the John Duke Senior Center, 1201 Hyde Park Blvd.

Topics will include: memory loss, dementia and Alzheimer’s; 10 tips for caregivers; and healthy habits for a healthy brain.
