Drugs and pills found in traffic stop

NIAGARA FALLS – A Niagara Falls man who was stopped for a seat belt violation was charged after marijuana and pills were found in his vehicle.

Taylor A. Boyea-Hunt, 19, of Niagara Falls, was stopped on Cayuga Drive on Saturday by State police and charged with a driver seat belt violation, unlawful possession of marijuana and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Troopers said there was a strong odor of marijuana. A further investigation found about four grams of marijuana and a pill bottle containing the narcotics Oxycodone, Endocet and hydrocodone.

Boylea-Hunt was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the City of Niagara Falls on Aug. 4.
