Buffalo man accused of breaking into gas station store

A Buffalo man is accused of breaking into a West Side gas station early Sunday and trying to steal 100 packs of cigarettes.

Angel Abraham of Niagara Street was charged by Central District officers with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny, third-degree criminal mischief and possession of burglar’s tools.

Abraham gained entry to the store in the 400 block of Rhode Island Street just before 3:30 a.m. by cutting through a security gate and using a rock to smash a glass door, police said.

Officers arrested Abraham in the store and found the cigarette packs in a bag in his possession, according to a report. Surveillance video of the incident was obtained by police, the report stated.
