Stockton motorist charged with aggravated, felony DWI

TOWN OF CHAUTAUQUA – A Stockton man charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated is accused of trying to drive off after being stopped by Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies for driving the wrong way in the westbound lane of Dean Road about 12:30 a.m. Friday,

James J. Nedwick, 55, was quickly forced off the road, deputies said. Nedwick, who posted a blood-alcohol level of 0.18 percent and had a prior DWI conviction, also was charged with both felony DWI and failure to comply with a police officer.
