Shaman Ghost gets No. 4 spot for Prince of Wales

Favorite Shaman Ghost (7-5) will go out of the No. 4 post position Tuesday night when the 80th Prince of Wales Stakes, the second leg of Canada’s Triple Crown, is held at Fort Erie Race Track.

The seven-horse field also includes Scorch (12-1), Conquest Booglaoo (4-1), Field of Courage (8-1), Danish Dynaformer (8-1), Breaking Lucky (6-1) and Cut to the Chase (15-1).

Shaman Ghost won the first leg of the Triple Crown, the Queen’s Plate at Woodbine, on July 5.

Post time for the $500,000 mile and 3/16 race, Canada’s richest on dirt, is 7:40 p.m. First race post time at Fort Erie is set for 4 p.m.
