Tools reported stolen from a utility trailer parked at Niagara University

LEWISTON – A Lockport man told Niagara County sheriff’s deputies that someone cut two padlocks off a utility trailer he had parked on the campus of Niagara University last week and had stolen tools valued at more than $1,600.

The victim said the theft happened last week, between 8 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday. The theft was also reported to campus police.

Items stolen included two framing nailers, a trim router, a circular saw, an orbital jigsaw and a power band saw.
